One of our priorities is to keep our member's money safe. That is why deposits at Plus4 are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government. Congress established the NCUA share insurance program in 1970 in order to insure member share accounts of federally insured credit union. NCUA Insurance helps maintain sound conditions in the credit union industry and protects those insured in the event of failure of an insured credit union due to insolvency or bankruptcy, as determined by the National Credit Union Administration Board. Members in an insured credit union do not pay for insurance protection.
The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) protects aggregate savings up to $250,000 in your IRA Savings, Certificates, Money Market, Club accounts and Checking accounts.
All savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 and are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
